Robert Walch | American, 1942 -

Robert Walch received a BFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he studied under the direction of Minor White.  The artist has used a view camera since the mid 1970s to reveal our presence within the urban landscape.  This method of working resulted in his celebrated series, Office Facades.  His photographs have been shown in many noteworthy group exhibitions at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C., Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge MA, Museum of Art, New York, and Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. 

Walch's photographs are held witihin the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Seattle Art Museum, Library of Congress, among others.
